The Penn State Hershey Clinical Simulation Center provides services outside the Penn State system to clients that want to take advantage of the experience and expertise offered by the Center’s faculty and staff.

Consulting Services
The Center has provided consulting services to several simulation-based educational programs and entities. These services have included:
- Comprehensive program review and recommendations
- Evaluation of new space with recommendations for growth
- Course and scenario development
- Commercial medical device usability evaluations

Specialty Courses
The Center can provide custom courses to meet client needs. One area of expertise the Center excels at is faculty development. The Center has conducted customized simulation faculty development courses with course formats ranging from two days to four days. These courses are conducted at the client’s location and have frequently involved a “train-the-trainer” approach to allow the clients to become self-sufficient.
Teaching with Simulation
Our premier simulation instructor course, this five day program provides an in-depth look at building simulation programs that can be integrated into participants’ curricula. We have over 300 graduates from this course, coming from over 30 states and several foreign countries, including South Korea, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Ghana, Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. Simulation Fellowship Program
